The developer SuperGaming has announced that the number of MaskGun players on the Android and iOS platforms across the globe has exceeded 100 million. Since it went online in January 2019, MaskGun has had a total game of over 40 million hours and made millions of teams.

MaskGun relies on SuperPlatform, which was developed by SuperGaming on its own initiative, both to support large-scale, multi-person online experience and to promote active social networking between the team and the player. To celebrate a player ‘ s breakthrough of 100 million, SuperGaming will launch a two-week festivities that will include high-end treasure boxes, double experience and new appearances.
The CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming, Robbie John, said: “We never imagined that MaskGun would build such a large and vibrant community when we first developed it. This milestone belongs entirely to the players, and the best part of the game is never a gun or a map, but a friendship, competition and story between the players. Today we are celebrating not 100 million player achievements, but 100 million emotional connections.”

The success of MaskGun confirms the value of focusing on a single product. SuperGaming laid the foundation for its next milestone by developing an easy-to-hand and competitive game, the Indus game of future Indian-style escape, which received over 9 million downloads in the first year.

Each game under SuperGaming is a continuation of previous experience, covering play balance, real-time service updates, community operations and cultural narratives. The philosophy of this type of deep-farming game reflects the company ‘ s ability to continuously evolve, ensuring that each new act achieves a larger, more sophisticated design and greater impact.
It is worth mentioning that SuperGaming had just completed a round of $15 million in B-round financing, with a firm valuation of $100 million. This round was led by global investors Skycatcher, Steadview Capital, a16z Spedrun, the Mandea Palace 021 Foundation, Polygon Ventures, Neowiz and Loud GG. The new funds will be used to accelerate the global expansion of the game, upgrade the SuperPlatform technology platform and develop the original IP.
